Step 1
Dosage of Colorizer
For the disinfectant to be effective, it must soak in for at least 30 seconds. This requires a sufficient dosage amount.
Find your own dosage amount.
Depending on hand size, different amounts of disinfectant are needed. 3 ml is recommended for average-sized hands. However, in daily practice, usually too little (Ø 1.7 ml) is used.

Step 1
Rub in thoroughly
Forget that you are in a training session. Disinfect during your first training exactly as you usually do. This is the best way to learn from potential errors.
First, disinfect fingertips, nail folds, and thumbs, as these have the highest germ density. And don’t forget your wrists.

Wait for color development
While the liquid dries, your hands will begin to change color. After about one minute, you can evaluate the disinfection.
Step 2
Check dosage amount and coverage
To check the dosage amount, compare the intensity of the coloration with the Color Card. Also check your hands for wetting gaps.
Do you have only a pale coloration despite a sufficient dosage amount? Then check if too much dripped off during application.
Step 3
Apply Decolorizer
Use approximately the same amount as you did for coloring. Make sure that very little drips off when transferring it to both hands.

Rub in thoroughly
The dye will now decolorize immediately. You can see right away which coverage is achieved by your specific movements.

Step 4
Check sequence and wetting
Check your hands thoroughly for any potential color residue. You will recognize which areas were not covered at all or were covered too late and will need faster attention in the future.
Nail folds and skin furrows, dry skin patches, or long fingernails are not only harder to disinfect but are also areas with high germ density.
You can fix the problem by wetting critical skin areas right at the start.
And afterwards ...
Repetition
Wash your hands after the training.
If you noticed critical errors, you should repeat the training immediately to develop your optimal disinfection technique.
After about one week of practical application, you should repeat the training again. This allows you to see if you have internalized your optimized technique.
The Robert Koch Institute and we recommend repeating the training on an annual basis thereafter.

I trained various courses during hygiene lessons and would like to share my experiences. Previously, we only used the UV method for training. The participants were very skeptical at first, asking about allergens and whether it comes out of clothes. It was also difficult initially because not everyone had a phone or couldn't handle one. In healthcare facilities, the employer is obligated under the Infection Protection Act (IfSG) to offer all employees practical hand disinfection training at least once a year.
Since the positive effects of hygiene training are scientifically well-documented, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) recommends training the entire workforce practically in the correct performance of hand disinfection at least annually. As a Category IB Â recommendation, regular training for all employees in healthcare facilities is mandatory.

DesiCoach® uses a base formula similar to most alcohol-based liquid disinfectants. The insights from the training are therefore easily transferable.
Unlike conventional UV systems, which primarily identify gaps in coverage, DesiCoach® also trains the user to determine the correct dosage. This dosage training is designed for liquid disinfectants. Therefore, limitations only apply when gels or foams are used in daily practice. Because these have different flow properties and volumes, the dosage instructions cannot be directly applied.
However, practicing the correct rubbing technique and recognizing gaps in wetting can be applied equally to all product forms.
No. Although DesiCoach® is based on the formula of classic disinfectants, the product is not certified as a disinfectant.
Simply rinse the splash with water and, if necessary, soap. The dye contains a mineral that can be easily rubbed off when dry. The color remover, on the other hand, contains fats that are more easily removed with soap. Any remaining residue will usually disappear completely after a wash in the washing machine.

DesiCoach® is easily wiped off smooth and sealed surfaces with a damp cloth.
For unsealed or sensitive surfaces, we recommend laying down newspaper, paper towels, foil or other coverings beforehand.
This can have several causes:
Check if too much liquid dripped off during application.
Make sure the DesiCoach® Colorizer was shaken well before use.
Applying DesiCoach® directly after using lotion or disinfecting can affect the coloring. In this case, please wash your hands and start over.
Coloring is delayed so that trainees cannot see if wetting gaps have occurred during the rubbing time—just like with a "normal" disinfectant.
Only during decolorization does every movement become immediately visible.
