The solution

The problem
Even experienced professionals make unnoticed mistakes when disinfecting their hands.
Try it out!
The remaining pathogens then become a health risk - also for other people.
The solution
DesiCoach makes mistakes in training visible so that they do not happen in everyday life.
Try it out!
The individually trained rubbing technique protects you and other people from infection.
How it works

Step 1
Dosing dye
For the disinfectant to work properly, it must be left to work for at least 30 seconds. To do this, we need a sufficient dosage.
Find your own dosing quantity.
We need different amounts of disinfectant depending on the size of our hands. For average hands, 3 ml is recommended. In everyday life, however, too little is usually used (Ø 1.7 ml).
We need different amounts of disinfectant depending on the size of our hands. For average hands, 3 ml is recommended. In everyday life, however, too little is usually used (Ø 1.7 ml).

Step 1
Rub in without gaps
Forget that you are training. Disinfect during your first training session just as you normally would. This is the best way to learn from possible mistakes.
First disinfect the fingertips, nail fold and thumb. This is where the highest germ density is. And don't forget the wrists.

Step 1
Wait for color development
As the liquid dries, your hand will begin to change color. After about a minute you can evaluate the disinfection.

Step 2 – Check
Check dosing quantity and wetting
To check the dosing quantity, compare the intensity of the coloring with the color chart. Also check your hands for wetting gaps.
Do you only have a pale coloration despite sufficient dosage? Then check whether you dripped too much when applying.

Step 3
Apply decolorizer
Use about the same amount as when coloring. Even if you used too little before.

Step 3
Rub in without gaps
The dye now decolors immediately. You can see immediately what wetting is achieved by your respective actions.
See how you can adjust your hand movements to really wet your hands completely.

Step 4 – Check
Check sequence and wetting
Check your hands thoroughly for possible paint residue. You will recognize which areas have not been wetted at all or too late and need more attention in the future.
Nail folds and skin furrows, dry skin areas or long fingernails are not only more difficult to disinfect, but also areas with a high germ density.
You solve the problem by wetting critical skin areas right at the beginning.
And then ...
Repetition
Wash your hands after training.
If you have noticed critical errors, you should repeat the training immediately to work out your optimum disinfection technique.
After about a week of practice, you should repeat the training again. This will show you whether you have internalized your optimized technique.
The Robert Koch Institute and we recommend repeating the training every year thereafter.

Training in groups
Queuing is a thing of the past! Group training ensures lasting learning success through direct exchange between all participants.
Everyone trains together and at the same time: Each set contains 20 individual training sessions, color cards and a short instruction manual. The training is accompanied by the respective hygiene specialist.
But the shared and playful application is above all one thing: fun! And when it's fun, you like doing it more and (very important!) do it better.

Individual training
Fully automated hygiene training! The take-away training enables, for the first time, individual training sessions outside of the usual group training sessions.
Everyone trains independently: For this purpose, each individual training contains an access code to the interactive online instructions that accompany the training.
Automatic evaluation in real time: The results of all participants can be evaluated and documented anonymously on the password-protected evaluation page. This way, you always know how many training sessions were completed and what results were achieved.

Trainees became thoughtful.
The product is easy and safe to use. I was impressed by the learning effect. The trainees approached the training with great motivation, in the firm belief that they would of course be able to carry out the hand disinfection they had learned correctly. This made it all the more surprising to discover that the hand disinfection was only effective for a small proportion of the trainees. The product clearly showed errors in the use of hand disinfection. This made the students think and will hopefully lead to better hand hygiene in the future. I am personally convinced by this product.

Your products are amazing.
I have used them in care facilities, health authorities and daycare centers. It goes down very well everywhere - I'm delighted myself.Small, handy, effective. I will be training hygiene officers again next year, and your product will certainly find its place there too.

Pink as far as the eye could see.
The materials in the DesiCoach package were great and went down extremely well with our employees and visitors. In contrast to previous years with black light lamps and the like, this year we were not only able to create a visual highlight. Everyone was impressed by the product, and the DesiCoach to Go packs in particular were a big hit. I would also like to compliment you on your advertising material and training videos. It was perfectly coordinated. Yesterday was a complete success for us. For four hours, everything revolved around hand disinfection. Pink hands as far as the eye could see.

Surprised and delighted.
Our participants are always surprised and enthusiastic about your hand hygiene products. The products were again very well received at our last courses. I think that it also always has to do with people's own attitude or rejection of new things in general. In principle, they are great products and we were able to inspire most of the participants - regardless of which professional group they belong to.

Increases sense and understanding.
The campaign day was successful and a lot of fun for the participants. According to the participants, the presentation greatly increased their understanding and sense of hygiene measures.

The aha effect was huge.
As a lecturer for the MAPs Marburg Academy, I was able to use a 75-pack for my courses. And I have to say, it was great. I have trained various courses as part of the hygiene lessons and I am happy to share my experiences with you. So far, we have only used the UV method for training. But DesiCoach is much more visual and instructive.1st course - everyday companion: The participants were very skeptical at first, asking about allergens and whether you can get them out of your clothes. It was also difficult at first because not everyone had a cell phone, or already had one, but couldn't get to grips with it. So I had to find a way to "guide" everyone together. The result was surprising: most of them had been working in institutions for years and thought they could disinfect their hands... The system did a wonderful job of pointing out the "flaws" and the "aha" effect was huge.2nd course - geriatric psychiatry specialists: all "old hands", including two facility managers who run very large homes and train their staff themselves. One of them had even trained hand disinfection herself with UV in her teaching sample in the everyday companion course. The skepticism was huge. At first I thought it wouldn't work well... BUT it worked well... even better. The participants, who are normally very critical, were able to get involved and the feedback was consistently positive. The instructions with the cell phone also worked perfectly. For example, it was very exciting to see how long artificial nails behave. One facility manager would like to try to implement the method in her facility. The feedback was consistently positive about the course itself and the "double" learning. Negative criticism (had it not been for the course) was that the costs could become a problem in many facilities. But in the end, the participants take this positively as a great multiplier.3rd course - training for the PfluV according to § 45b: The participants were without experience and one manager - mostly housewives. The training went well under my guidance. At the beginning there were similar topics as with the everyday companions. On top of that, we didn't have Wi-Fi there. But the feedback and aha effect were consistently positive. The management of Pflegeberatung Mittelhessen will probably make this available to their employees.4th course - ICW wound expert course, hygiene: The topic of hand disinfection training is not so popular, but with DesiCoach I got everyone awake. There are also many experienced experts there. Due to COVID, they are all hand disinfection professionals... my ass... we have uncovered clear sources of error, and after 7 days of training, I was able to take everyone with me again very well on the last afternoon and shed more light on the topic... MEGA... it's fun for me too, otherwise the last afternoon is always extremely tough. Many thanks for that...

First skepticism, then conviction!
We took part in the hand hygiene campaign day during our hygiene training.
We are absolutely convinced by your product. There were no queues, which made our employees very happy. They were initially skeptical about the coloring, but with the decolorizer they immediately saw where they needed to improve hand disinfection. I really liked the training materials from your side and I was able to inform our employees about them very well. Keep up the good work. I can only recommend your product.

In healthcare facilities, the employer is obliged under the Infection Protection Act (IfSG) to offer all employees practical training in hand disinfection at least once a year.
Since the positive effects of hygiene training are scientifically well-documented, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) recommends that the entire workforce be trained in the correct implementation of hand disinfection at least once a year. As a recommendation of the Category IB regular training is mandatory for all employees in healthcare facilities.

Yes, wetting gaps are easily recognizable on both light and dark skin. However, a sufficient amount of liquid must always be applied to achieve a good contrast.
This can have several causes:
Check whether too much liquid has dripped during application.
Make sure the DesiCoach® dye has been shaken well before use.
Using DesiCoach® directly after applying cream or disinfectant may affect the color. In this case, please wash your hands and start again.
The coloring is delayed so that the users cannot yet see during the rub-in time whether wetting gaps have occurred - just like with a "normal" disinfectant.
Only when the color is removed is every movement immediately visible.
DesiCoach® uses a similar basic formula to most alcohol-based liquid disinfectants. The knowledge gained from the training can therefore be easily transferred.
There are only restrictions if gels or foams are used in everyday life. In this case, training in the individually correct dosage amount is not transferable.
No. Although DesiCoach® is based on the formulation of classic disinfectants, the product is not certified as a disinfectant.
Simply rinse the stain with water and soap if necessary. The dye contains a mineral that can be easily rubbed off when dry. The decolorizer, on the other hand, contains fats that are easier to remove with soap. The stain should be completely gone after one wash in the washing machine at the latest.
IMPORTANT! Use not the decolorizing solution for stain removal.
DesiCoach® can be easily wiped off smooth and sealed surfaces with a damp cloth.
For sensitive surfaces, we recommend laying out newspaper, paper towels, foil or other materials beforehand.
Clear! We offer discounts on larger order quantities and for recurring orders for regular training courses.

Three good reasons for hygiene training
Try it out!
Studies show that without training, even after 30 seconds of rubbing, over 50% of the disinfections have gaps.
The problem: germs remain where no disinfectant is used. In addition, on average only 1.7 ml is used instead of the recommended 3 ml.
Targeted training sessions raise awareness of the problem and bring about behavioral changes that have a positive impact on the quality and regularity of hand disinfection.
Studies show that the frequency of hand disinfection increases significantly in the immediate period after training. This is because the training brings hand hygiene more into our focus and very succinctly emphasizes its great importance for infection protection.
The training courses ensure that we remember the necessary hand hygiene more often and greatly increase our motivation to disinfect our hands regularly.
The positive effects of hygiene training have been scientifically proven. The Robert Koch Institute therefore recommends at least one practical hand disinfection training session per year for the entire workforce.
As a recommendation of category IB, regular training is therefore mandatory for all teams in healthcare facilities.
