funding

Thanks to the financial support of the European Union and the state of Thuringia, we can carry out the following projects with our innovative employees:

Joint project no.: 1000479; Funding object: 2023 VFE 0054 Research and development project Thuringia Verbund; Co-financed by the European Union; from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2026

Development of individualized sustainable filter materials with indicator systems

As part of the FTI research project “MyBioMask”, we are working together with INNOVENT eV, the University Hospital Jena and Thorey Gera Textilveredelung GmbH on innovative, environmentally friendly and hygienic protective masks. Integrated color indicators visualize the durability and thus improve mask compliance for safe use.

Project 2021 INP 0047 from 01.05.2021 to 31.12.2022

DesiCoach, SoapiCoach & VisiSoap: Internationalization of Sales

The hygiene products developed by Heyfair have so far been sold primarily in German-speaking countries. To internationalize sales, it is important to find product partners and resellers, to hold international product demonstrations at events and on-site visits, and to obtain country-specific customer feedback for further development.

Project 2021 INP 0015 from 01.03.2021 to 31.12.2022

Temporary colouring soap: development of the product design and graphic design of the marketing campaign

In order to successfully launch the colored handwashing soap developed by Heyfair onto the markets (nationally and internationally), a professional graphic design of the product, including packaging and documentation, is required. For the marketing campaigns accompanying the launch, visually appealing materials, including websites, videos and advertisements, should be created for the various target groups and regions.

Project 2020 INP 0108 from 01.12.2020 to 30.11.2022

Temporary colored soap VisiSoap: Further development of the prototype to market maturity

The hygiene products developed by Heyfair are based on innovative dye systems and make mistakes in hand hygiene visible. On the way to a temporarily visible disinfectant, the training products SteriCoach® (hand disinfection) and SoapiCoach® (hand washing) were introduced and the prototype of a temporarily visible soap (working title "VisiSoap") was developed. In order for VisiSoap to be ready for the market, the investigation and optimization of product stability, washability from textiles, smell, skin feel and biocidal effectiveness are required.

Project 2020 INP 0040 from 01.05.2020 to 30.04.2022

Short-term visible disinfectant: Further development of the product formulation to market maturity by ensuring discoloration on all surfaces and increasing robustness against different skin types

The briefly visible disinfectant invented by Heyfair ensures that disinfection is carried out correctly by temporarily coloring the skin. The prototypes of the product have been significantly optimized in recent years. However, an unforeseen problem is that the decolorization is not complete on some surfaces. In addition, some physiological properties of the skin can have a sensitive influence on the decolorization reaction, so that it occurs too quickly or incompletely. The aim of the project is to solve these problems.

Project 2018 INP 0141 from 01.12.2018 to 28.02.2021

Short-term visible disinfectant - development of product and quality management as well as the sales concept

For the short-term visible disinfectant to successfully enter the market, a product manager is needed who acts as the interface between the laboratory and the customer and positions the product according to the requirements of the competitive environment. This involves tasks such as price calculation, defining business processes and establishing quality management. In order for the innovation to be exploited, it is important to work with the founders to secure the financing of high-performance product equipment.

Project 2018 INP 0129 from 01.11.2018 to 31.12.2020

Short-term visible disinfectant - development of reliable product formulation

In order to open up the market for the briefly visible disinfectant, it is necessary to develop a product formulation that reliably guarantees the desired range of functions for coloring and removal and also meets the high demands of customers in terms of skin compatibility, effectiveness, stability and sensory properties of the product.

Project 2017 INP 0135 from 01.01.2018 to 31.12.2019

Short-term visible disinfectant - process optimization and scaling of dye production

Heyfair GmbH is the inventor of a disinfectant that is visible for a short time. This supports the correct and thorough disinfection of hands. The coloring and decolorization is carried out using a natural dye that has been specially developed for this purpose. In order to bring the product to market, the dye must be further developed so that it can be produced cheaply and in large quantities. The extraction procedure developed for dye production will be optimized technoeconomically by the funded body and scaled up to an industrial scale.
