If you work in healthcare or a community facility but are not responsible for conducting hygiene training yourself, there is good news:
Your employer is obliged by the Infection Protection Act (IfSG) to offer practical hand disinfection training to all employees in healthcare facilities at least once a year.
As the positive effects of hygiene training have been scientifically proven, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) recommends that all staff receive practical training in the correct way to disinfect their hands at least once a year. Because as a recommendation of the Category IB Â recommendation, regular training for all employees in healthcare facilities is mandatory.

DesiCoach® 75ml
One DesiCoach® 75ml set can be used for around 18 to 25 training sessions. If you are planning a group training session, we recommend providing at least 1 set for every 5 people.
DesiCoach® 2Go
One training session is enough for exactly one person. A course contains several individual training sessions.
DesiCoach® is refrigerated 12 months and uncooled 3 months long shelf life. We recommend storing in the refrigerator at around 2 - 8°C.
However, continuous cooling is not necessary. Uncooled phases of up to 2 weeks DesiCoach® can withstand these conditions without any problems - they have no significant influence on product stability!
Yes, DesiCoach® is certified as a cosmetic product and is therefore subject to the strict European guidelines for products that are applied to the skin. We have had compliance with these guidelines tested and confirmed by a leading service provider for risk assessment. DesiCoach® is also free from allergens.
In addition, the skin compatibility of DesiCoach® has been dermatologically tested with "very good" tested.
Yes. Wetting gaps are clearly visible on both light and dark skin. However, a sufficient amount of liquid must always be applied to achieve good contrast.
This can have several causes:
- The dosing quantity was not correct or too much liquid was dripped. Measure the reaction time with a stopwatch for clarification. If this is less than 30 seconds, the problem is an application error that can now be rectified.
- DesiCoach® is not compatible with some creams that have extremely strong pH buffers. Ask the person concerned to wash their hands and try again.
- The minimum shelf life has expired or DesiCoach® has been stored incorrectly. If you do not intend to use DesiCoach® for a longer period of time, you should store the training in the refrigerator to significantly extend its shelf life
Coloring is delayed so that trainees cannot see if wetting gaps have occurred during the rubbing time—just like with a "normal" disinfectant.
Only during decolorization does every movement become immediately visible.
DesiCoach® uses a similar basic formulation to most alcohol-based liquid disinfectants. The findings and techniques developed are therefore easily transferable to other products that have a declared contact time of 30 seconds.
There are only restrictions on the transferability of the training content if your team uses gels or foams in everyday life. Training the individually correct dosage amount is then not transferable, for example. In addition to training with DesiCoach®, you should then train the drying time in relation to the dosage quantity using a stopwatch.
No. Although DesiCoach® is based on the formula of classic disinfectants, the product is not certified as a disinfectant.
Simply rinse the stain with water. As the natural dye is highly water-soluble, this is usually sufficient in most cases. The stain should be gone after one wash cycle in the washing machine at the latest.
IMPORTANT! Please use not use the Decolorizer solution for stain removal.
DesiCoach® is highly water-soluble and will not stain smooth and sealed surfaces. To be on the safe side, you can of course lay out newspaper, paper towels, foils or other materials during your hygiene training.

As part of our mission on behalf of the German Rotary Volunteer Doctors eV (GRVD eV) We supported four hospitals in Ghana in improving their hand hygiene infrastructure and conducted comprehensive training for medical staff. A particular focus was on practical training in correct hygienic hand disinfection. The use of the DesiCoach proved to be a particularly effective training tool.
The high acceptance of DesiCoach was particularly evident at Catholic Hospital Battor, where the practical demonstration was perceived as especially clear and motivating by the more than 200 workshop participants. In the other hospitals as well, the practical exercises significantly contributed to promoting an understanding of complete and effective hand disinfection.
The use of DesiCoach supported the communication of WHO hand hygiene recommendations and made a significant contribution to improving patient safety. Staff members were highly motivated to permanently integrate the learned techniques into their daily clinical practice.
The projects are carried out on behalf of German Rotary Volunteer Doctors eV (GRVD eV). The support of the association and its donors provides an important foundation for implementing this aid for self-help on the ground.
The exercise was very enjoyable for the participants and received a very positive overall response. The material was perceived as clear, practical, and varied; many participants asked me where they could obtain it – I hope you'll see some of that.

As part of an international IPC (Infection Prevention and Control) training course by Malteser International in Sudan, we were able to use DesiCoach® for practical hand hygiene training.
The deployment took place against a backdrop of increased infection risks due to ongoing humanitarian challenges. Thirty-five people from clinical and non-clinical fields participated in the training.
The content focused on infection prevention, transmission routes, personal protective equipment and hand hygiene.
DesiCoach® helped to make theoretical concepts about the transmission of pathogens practically comprehensible. Many participants were surprised at how easily contamination occurs and how often individual areas of the hands are not adequately reached during disinfection.
DesiCoach makes the invisible visible and provides a lasting reminder of what is often forgotten in everyday life. This practical approach is particularly valuable for international training because it intuitively enables a clear learning effect.

The training sessions are going great. The Heyfair system is consistently praised as very helpful, as it allows trainees to identify their typical wetting gaps from the outset and then optimize them.
In practice, it can also be seen that the students perform their hand disinfection much more properly.
Every year on Action Day, we have an area where people diligently practice hand hygiene using a UV lamp. This year we wanted to offer something special and chose DesiCoach.
The employees liked that several people could practice hand hygiene at the same time.
The two solutions allowed employees to train twice or check whether they were covering all areas.
What we noticed during application was that the white dye was hardly absorbed on very dry hands.

We appreciate your feedback regarding reduced color intensity on very dry hands. Based on our experience, a weaker color effect is often caused by excessively moist hands, for example due to sweat, hand creams, or the use of very rich disinfectants prior to application.
